Office, Office!

It has been a while since I wrote about my work life. Well, it is not that things have changed much for me. My project remains the same, but thanks to the multiple trips to Canada, the number of processes and teams have increased. 4 processes in progress- 1 in steady state, 2 completing transition soon and 1 that has just been transitioned, but there is enough to look forward to in the next 4- 5 months- additional volumes for the 4th process and a 5th process being transitioned. There is so much of discussions, analysis and planning being done to make sure that things remain under control!

Not that the last year and half with the new project was easy! Lots of discussions, negotiations, challenges, gaping differences between expectations and actual performance. But almost an year later, things are looking better and brighter! Discussions, suggestions, arguements, talking through issues and challenges and general improvement in performance- finally, everything has fallen into place and now the team that I am part of is in expansion mode! There is happiness all around, accolades coming from all directions and lots of hope for the team, not to forget the high degree of expectations from everyone...

But the last one year has brought about a significant level of increase in confidence and with a hardworking, focussed and wonderful set of people working together, today I can confidently say that anything is achievable...
